The room was spotless and beautifully designed, with a lovely view of the sunset over the ocean from the outdoor bath. There were lots of outstanding meals. Great location - only a short distance to everywhere we needed. Gift stores and a supermarket were right next door. Everything was great and within a 24-minute drive of Yakushima airport.

The hotel has stunning views from its location on top of a cliff over the ocean. it is far away from the main hiking trails and it is difficult to reach them without a car. the sitting area in the foyer is comfortable and nice for relaxing.
The onsen was underwhelming with no natural setting and the water was not hot enough.
